This month, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who’s truly become a cornerstone of the Progress Printing Plus team—Shannon Rucker, celebrating an incredible 23 years with us!

When we asked Shannon what first drew him to Progress Printing Plus, he reflected on the laid-back yet professional vibe that matched his own approach to work and life. "It was the community’s serious yet calm atmosphere, never rushing or panicking, that really caught my attention," he shared. That same philosophy has guided Shannon throughout his time here—always moving forward steadily and thoughtfully, no matter the challenge.

One thing that’s always stood out about Shannon is his incredible work ethic, which he humbly attributes to the team around him. "I’ve always tried to mirror the work ethic of my colleagues," he says. "We’re all in this together, and it’s about contributing our skills in a way that benefits everyone." That team-first mentality is part of what makes Shannon such a reliable and valuable member of our crew.

Throughout the years, Shannon’s touched a wide range of projects, but he holds a special place in his heart for high-end Home Improvement catalogs. "There’s something motivating about knowing a company trusts us with their most important marketing materials," he explains. The attention to detail and design that goes into these projects is something Shannon truly enjoys.

But it’s not just the work he’s passionate about—Shannon has a real love for building lasting relationships with customers. For him, earning trust and appreciation from clients is just as rewarding as the finished product. That drive to do his best, day in and day out, keeps him engaged and always striving for excellence.

Of all the projects Shannon has been part of, there’s one that stands out above the rest: the 2018 Super Bowl winner celebration catalog. As a lifelong Patriots fan, getting to work on a project celebrating their victory was a dream come true. "The turnaround for that project was tight, with overnight crews working hard to meet the deadline. But being involved in something that was both a professional milestone and a personal win as a fan? It was such a rewarding experience," Shannon says with a smile.

As we celebrate Shannon’s 23rd year with Progress Printing Plus, we’re reminded of how much one person can shape the success of a team. His dedication, passion, and teamwork have made a lasting impact—and we’re lucky to have him as part of our story.
